David Anders till Vampire Diaries

David Anders kommer dyka upp i The Vampire Diaries någon gång i mitten av april (det är i amerikansk takt). Jag minns honom starkast som Sark i Alias, men han har även varit med i Heroes och 24. Han kommer vara med i flera avsnitt under säsongen. The Ausiello Files avslöjar:
The Alias and Heroes alum will play Elena and Jeremy’s uncle, Jonathan Gilbert, who comes to Mystic Falls to “cause some trouble,” teases an insider.

If that name sounds familiar, it’s because, well, it should. Johnathan Gilbert (yes, that’s with an “h”) is the name of Elena and Jeremy’s circa-1800 ancestor. Old school Johnathan debuted via flashback earlier this month as played by Joe Knezevich.

Det här handlar alltså om en helt annan karaktär än 1800-tals Johnathan.
